I’m a self-taught artist currently living in Tallahassee, FL. Over the years, I’ve worked as an emergency medical technician, emergency medical dispatcher, farmer, and entrepreneur. I run a successful eBay reselling business and have a passion for selling vintage clothes and electronics.

While searching through an estate sale, I stumbled upon old photos from the 1950s. They were dirty, stained, and aged, depicting groups of people in various settings along with old buildings, cars, and more. The owner generously gave me the photographs. The moment I viewed them, I was instantly inspired. The decay, the passage of time, and the distortion in the images evoked the complexity of life and the current state of our world. As humans, we are paradoxical in nature. We exist in a fragile state between good and evil—capable of the most humane actions and the most terrible atrocities, both against our fellow humans and Mother Nature. When painting the figures in my work, I strive to capture these conflicting states of consciousness.
